We have selected the best sounding guitars for this mission, and carefully sampled the harmonics that each guitar produces (See the full list of guitars below). Each guitar brings its own harmonic character and enables the creation of new different sounds, and you can layer two guitar sources jointly for hybrid sounds and richer evolving tones. The advanced synthesis engine enables interesting sound sculpting options, and the noise-shaper section brings the vintage analog scent when it is needed.

Magic Vox expanded effect section is an integral part of the sound design process. This section includes traditional effects like Delay and reverb, along with special effects like the Granular and magic effects.

The effects are:

Rotator: Smooth and beautiful effect that accurately emulates a rotary speaker.
Granular: Uses granular synthesis techniques for the creation of sound clouds and other special effects.
Magic: Has two modes: white magic for a gentle magical touch, and black magic when you a wild reaction is needed.
Chorus: Traditional chorus sound. Has a special extreme mode that enables you to add metallic flavor to the sound.
Distortion: 3 modes of distortion are available: Booster, Rectifier and Crusher. The distorted sound can be passed through a dedicated resonant filter for special distortion effects.
Delay: Advanced delay with a resonant Multimode filter, for coloring the delayed sound.
Reverb: The reverb unit is being used as a send effect, so you can add reverb to each of your two sound sources independently.

Magic Vox also has a Multimode resonant filter section (Lowpass, Bandpass, Highpass and Notch), two equalizers (one for each sound source), and two VU meters for volume monitoring.

Magic Vox can produce a wide range of sounds: from fantastic velvet keyboards to sweet distorted leads, organs and fender-rhodes style sounds, strange mallets, exotic string instruments, and many other innovative beautiful tones that doesn’t have a name yet- everything with a delicate touch of magic!

“The well-programmed presets are surprisingly varied, ranging from classic harmonics to softly swelling distortion, gritty organs, growling leads, electric pianos and digital keyboard sounds, while the effect section adds lots of pleasing and unusual flavourings, with underpinnings of strangeness. Magic Vox is most definitely a one-off, and highly recommended to anyone on the look-out for new ‘organic’ sounds.”
