Drive can help you add character, warmth and edge to anything you throw into it. Here are a few examples:
- Use it as a send effect on your rhythm section for the creation of modern drum sound (Listen to the sound demo).
- It can saturate and emphasize the higher frequencies of a bass guitar, making it more present in your mix while keeping the low frequencies clean and clear (Watch the video)
- Use it to get edgy vocals, fuller acoustic guitars or spicy synthesized sounds.
How does it work?
Drive separates the incoming signal into six frequency bands. Each band can be saturated independently, while the other bands are not affected. The result is more flexibility at the sound design process, and new opportunities for creative mixing or music making.
